Fucky Film Review!

Color Me Kubrick

Brian W. Cook 2005

An unusual film about a real man who impersonated Stanley Kubrick in London in the early 1990’s despite looking nothing like him, being flamboyantly gay, and knowing nothing about Mr. Kubrick’s movies. The movie was written by Kubrick’s longtime personal assistant and directed by Brian Cook, who was the assistant director on some of Kubrick’s best films. Malkovich plays the impersonator with magnificent aplomb, aided by one of the best wardrobes I’ve ever seen in any movie ever.
